[Amusement radiates back, and warmth, and humor]

[And that nothing rises up in turn, as Eddie turns it stool-ward]

[Jesper's attention focuses in, starting to stitch the nothing in around the grain like he would dyes, letting it profuse the old, dead cells. Slowly, one patch at a time, the stool starts to fade from sight.]

[He keeps quiet, much as he wants to exclaim about that one being set-in, too, though Jesper can surely feel the spark of excitement -- just watches, instead, as the stool slowly fades from sight]

I think it's working?? [The burst of excitement in answer is followed by Jesper lightly shaking Eddie.]

It's working like you wouldn'tbelieve.

[Shaking him back, the little rill of excitement growing stronger]

[He lets go of the stool and eases back, almost expecting it to snap back into... sight? Reality?]

[There's a sort of a -- pressure, from Eddie's end,as though he's trying to snap it back into sight]

[But the stool stays exactly where it isn't, utterly unseen]
